Chicken Soup is Good for the Soul — & colds!

A hearty Whole 30 chicken soup perfect for any cold day! So simple, yet so delicious. This one is full of nutrients that will help clear congestion and act as an anti-inflammatory reducing cold & flu symptoms.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb. Chicken
  • 3 potatoesIMG_3584.jpg
  • Handful of radishes
  • Handful of carrots
  • A few stalks of celery
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 onions
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Seasoning
    • 1 tsp. thyme
    • 1 tsp. parsley
    • 1 tsp. oregano
    • 2-3 bay leaves
    • 1 tsp. rosemary
    • 1 tsp. white pepper
    • 1 tsp. black pepper
    • 1 tbsp. sea salt

Directions:

  1. Chop all of your vegetables up.
  2. Throw everything in the InstantPot.
  3. Allow it to heat up.
  4. Turn it on the stew/soup setting.
  5. Release Steam & Enjoy!
  6. Top with sliced scallions for extra flavor.

Think about placing a package of chicken in the cabinet for 2 years — how would it taste/look/smell? Anything in a can is loaded with crazy preservatives that allow it to be stored out of the fridge and last for years.
